  Been here many, many times... including with my Dad (who grew up in the "old country" Mennonite village). He would take great pride in explaining all aspects of the Heritage Village. It is very authentic and employees and volunteers are for the most part very knowledgable. Old Dad caught them on a couple things... but all in fun. The food is great... but not as good as Mom's. For the guy that complained about customer service... Hey remember some of these people are volunteers. Step back in time to a slower pace... don't be rushed like todays society and have a wonderful time.

  It is an excellent location for fun photography (took wedding pictures here in 2002), interesting history, and during the summer there are a lot of interesting activities and demonstrations. The food at the Livery Barn restaurant is very good, and very reasonably priced, especially the buffet. You can get free entry to the village if you're just there for the restaurant. I also attend a monthly liturgical choral service called Vespers (usually held between October and May), a choir with many of the top choral singers from the local area and a variety of choral directors.
